We will be holding the fleet racing in WeymouthBay which is one of the best dinghy racing areas in the UK. It is protected from the worst of the Atlantic swell by Portland Bill but still gets good steady winds. While Portland Bill is renowned for strong tides, the tide in WeymouthBay is much less and is even across the course. If things to get too hairy in the bay we have the option of racing inside Portland harbour in flatter water – this will also be where the team racing is held.
